BANKED

When rich neighbors threaten to pollute the Aksel family’s farmland, veteran and new mom Kat Aksel knows another shoe will drop. It falls in the form of a corrupt judge and a giant bank foreclosing on their property with support from a billion-dollar security company called Green Flow. Most Americans wouldn’t recognize the former mercenaries-gone-legit or their so-called robbery-proof alarm system with its uncanny resemblance to classified army tech, but Kat does. Now she fears her husband, John, will make the connection and try to use it.
Everyone coming after
them is too big to fail.
Returning home with PTSD from his final deployment, John has no idea about the attacks on his family. Kat’s audacious plan to protect him and the farm could work if their relationship can stand it, and their wounded veteran friends agree to help. Each of them already has a compelling reason of their own to take on the bank and Green Flow Security. The fact that Kat’s op shouldn’t be possible if done by them in only five days is a point in their favor. Being underestimated is their primary asset.
